A creation experiment from manual artwork to three-dimensional installation

What I thought in July , 2006:


This exhibition presented a creative model from two-dimensional manual work to transfer to three-dimensional costume in fashion design. Therefore, this assess can be used in any artist who want to examine and apprehend their private motivation in artworks. It is that in order to improve creations in multiple performances. Moreover, the method analyzing personal 2D artworks can acquaint with a self-typical using for art. It can be put to use well in fashion to build an integrated installation with media, manual works and fashion design.


From my perspective of fashion design study, a strong evident from collection of artists’ self-portraits reveals that indicative of condition in subconsciousness affect an artist who portrays a self-portrait. Consequently, analyzing my memory, love and dream artworks from 2002 to 2003, influence my productions powerfully. Thus, I built this fashion design installation in 2006, which established in understanding my creativity motivation and method which is translating pattern making from 2D to 3D.

這個2006創作提出在服裝設計方面2D平面轉化成3D立體的創作模式,這個方法運用在個人創作上,可以檢視創作動力與意涵,使作品以更多元方式成現。創作方法實驗是將藝術家的平面作品分析,結果可以得到個人創作的典型,在服裝設計上用版型展開的方法將2D轉化3D,並將影像,手繪與服裝設計整合成為總和裝置.

本研究創作模式從收集藝術家的自畫像作品中發現,這些自畫像的表現受潛意識中的面對自我的狀態的影響,研究成果是運用這個創作檢視方法--來分析我2002-2003的作品,了解個人創作的動力與典型受記憶, 愛與夢想的影響,立體的裝置建立是因為從2D平面作品的版型展開。
